Chromium is not accepting translations from the community any longer, unfortunately. And it doesn't appear they have translations for Gaelic, either. Their documentation wrt translations doesn't seem to be up-to-date, so I don't know if/how your work could be submitted to the chromium project directly, if you're still interested.
