I use fish, but with the technique "Modify .bashrc to drop into fish"
from
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fish#Setting_fish_as_default_shell.
I believe that this should leave the default shell untouched, so bash
should still source all profile files before dropping into fish at the
end of .bashrc

Also this error only happened after the upgrade to 20.04. It was working
fine on 18.04 - 19.10

Title:
Installed snap Chromium not showing in activities overview

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When I press the super key to open the activities overview, chromium
does not appear, and is not found when typing to search for apps.

Actually, no snap installed apps are shown in the activities overview.

I was able to make one app (spotify) show by symlinking its .desktop
  file from /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications to
  /usr/share/applications.

Strangely there is a chromium-browser.desktop file in
/usr/share/applications but it still doesn't show up in activities
  overview.
