  1. Only the default Ubuntu AppIndicators and Dock are enabled in the
'Extensions' app.

  2. ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions No such file or directory

  3. Reboot and the problem happens again every few weeks or months

  4. should I run "apport-collect 1917066" any time or only via ssh when
the UI is broken?

  windows and popups in gnome become unresponsive

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  windows and popups in gnome become unresponsive.
  I can start and quit apps from the bar but can not interact with them (no 
action on x button or capslock on the keyboard)
  I am forced to ssh in to run apport-cli gnome-session-quit

  I'm not sure what pkgname is at fault but let me know if there is any
  info or testing I can do to narrow down the issue.
