Actually yes I did just see it again.  Took about a minute. Funnily
enough, as soon as I logged in, a notification said wireless networks
were available to connect.  It took a minute after that before I could
see the list in the nm appindicator pulldown menu.

Bug description:
  This happens on both my (uptodate precise) laptops, though not every
  time.  When I start the laptop and log in, I'm connected to my access
  point, but clicking over the indicator doesn't show the current or
  available networks.  I'm attaching a screenshot.
