We tend to discourage direct e-mail everywhere in engineering, because it's inefficient compared to open communication. But you're definitely not the only manager-type-person to express this sentiment that "if you want to get hold of me, send me an e-mail." I understand that you must get a ton of bugmail due to the high number of bugs you touch. But is there any way we could devise a system so that we could actually get your attention with a bug comment, so we don't have to remember to send e-mail? For example, maybe you could have a filter for "@akeybl". Or maybe you could simply avoid cc'ing yourself to bugs you touch. We could use our much-touted ability to modify bugzilla to make that easier from a UI perspective. -Justin > On Oct 12, 2012, at 10:20 AM, Andrew Overholt <[email protected]> wrote: > >>> Sometimes, you can unset the priority field to indicate that you'd >>> like it re-prioritized.
