That's unfortunately just a small step until the vendors open up the
baseband which is IMHO the biggest issue in building a completely open
phone
I thought the baseband was not included in the builds you typically
build and flash anyhow, so if all the drivers hooking into the kernel (I
have heard graphics and wifi as the biggest offenders) can be made open,
we'd be able to have openly available images to flash onto devices - or
is that wrong?
