Just installed it. I get the same issue. Sound works though.

Possibly. I just remembered (and double checked to confirm): I have the
same problem with the medium sized icon on http://forecast.io (which
appears to be a <canvas> thing), and with the radar.
Unrelated note: does your camera work? I haven't been able to get mine
working. It just shows a black screen.
This is not something I'm seeing on my Nexus S, but I do see it in some
rare cases, like when resizing/cropping an image when sharing it from
the gallery.
