Some versions of the flame bootlaoder just show the thundersoft logo when in 
fastboot mode. 

Use "fastboot devices" to see if a fastboot device is detected. 

I normally do it this way: 

- unplug usb cable 
- power off phone 
- pull battery for 10 seconds 
- Press and Hold Volume Down 
- Press and Hold Power 
- Once you see a logo, you should be in fastboot mode 
- Replug USB cable in 
- Issue fastboot devices command to verify
