I asked Alcatel about a month ago to adhere to the GPL and release the source code for the Fire C (4019). I've asked the maintainers of the [Sourceforge project][1] as well as customer support. Upon request, customer support told me yesterday: "Our development team is working to implement source codes for all available devices."
Well, a month is enough time, even for sending me the source code on a CD-ROM by surface mail. So I believe it's time to contact the authors that released their source code under the GPL and whose copyright Alcatel is violating by not releasing the source to their modifications.
