Yes. By the way, even if Alcatel uses an unmodified version of the
kernel and its modules, as far as I understand the GPL, Alcatel is
required to provide me at least with a download link to the exact
version that is needed to build the binary running on my device.
The configuration is available on the device at:
/proc/config.gz
To build Gonk, of course, required is also the source for the toolchain
on top of the kernel.

I’m still communicating with Alcatel on a daily basis. Let’s hope that
filing a complaint is not necessary in the end.
