No,  I used absoulte path.

I think use DOM update content should be a supported way, right?  
And exactlly say, 
- For win:
I met this problem only when ran my app using GRE. It worked well when ran with 
Mozilla (GRE is not seprated.)

- For linux:
Mozila 1.7 worked well but Mozilla 1.8 failed.

So I really think  it's regression of Mozilla.

Also using relative URIs?

BTW, I can make sure that the url of the image is right, since right click the 
image icon then click view image, it will show normally.



Doesn't sound like you're seeing the same problem, then.

I'd trace into nsContentUtils::CanLoadImage and see what happens.
