Hi
I am chiming in. I am a js dev in my pro life, but not on FFOS, although I
own a device, bought for ideological reasons.

What I could never understand, is why there a marketplace inspired by
iOS-Android, and nothing similar to sourceforge-github.
Of course nobody make money out of that, but it is a great way to get
stable and popular apps, and then commercial vendors can sell softs that
plug onto these.
If I bought a FFOS phone "free and cheap hardware" it wasn't to become a
consumer similar to iphone fanboys. I hope that would be something for ppl
with m mindset, so that we can start/contribute to the ecosystem that can
attract wider audience and commercial soft makers.

but I still support what you are doing I hope it is going somewhere, and I
am going to be a new device so that I dont have to restart between reading
sms from 2 different persons.... ;)
