Has anyone tried gmail on Chrome in Android? It's pretty good. If it had a
service worker and push support, it would as good as their native app. I
would love to see us get "the best of the Web" on these devices, I would
consider Google part of the community, and nudge them along a bit to make
their app progressive and lose the UA sniffing. We would have a 1st class
mail app without writing a line of code (there will always be a need to a
vanilla client like we have in Gaia as well).
