Dear Hardik,
we also have an mobilemojo mobileweb theme for oxid, based on bootstrap framework.
Our solution was quiet simple:
the theme switcher, that can switch between different installed oxid themes, based on device user agent string.
So you have same url, different templates.
You could even extend this for one "Pad" theme, if you like.
you have different caches for each theme, and some other obstacles to solve, but in the end result will be quiet good.
this is a lightweight theme in new flat design style.
we have additional extensions for this, like banner module, some input assistant or 360 degree product animation.
one of our customer is www.bobshop.de - here you can check how customizable the theme is.
in my/our opinion you will need different approaches for different clients.
- responsive design for classic devices and pads
- mobile theme for mobile phones (touch smartphones)
- mobile app for strong brands or mass products with returning customers
issue is that responsive is nice, but not enough because there are hundreds of different devices with different screen resolutions and sizes.
you have full hd on a 5 inch phone, or a vga display on a cheap tablet. You must handle all of these devices the best way. so thats why a mobile theme makes sense, even if there are responsive templates.
regards,
Robert
