Displays - where? In the header of the mail reader, in the message
areas overview (aka mail folder)...?
"postmaster/bitzbox.plus.com" would be the default display of the
personal mail folder (which can be changed to
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" in FreeXP and probably OpenXP, but AFAIK
not in XP2).
In so far it surprises me that XP2 displays an "@" and OpenXP an "/".

This -- see above -- can be changed to "@" in FreeXP by activating the
following switches:
C/D/M/Usenet groups with "."
C/D/M/... applies to all Message Areas
But this is just a display issue. In the header of the mail reader I'm
seeing an "@" anyway.
The reason why FreeXP uses a different *address* ist the Delivered-To:-
Header of the message (OpenXP and XP2 do not support this header). If
you invoke FreeXP's E-UUZ with the switch "-UseEnvTo" then several
envelope headers are supported (Envelope-To:, X-Envelope-To:,
Delivered-To:, X-Original-To:).
See also "Use Envelope Header" under D/S/E/N. I assume you have
activated this switch.

Because they are different programs. :-)
