Hi,
We are thinking of adding this paragraph to our email that the customer
receives (the one you can configure via the RSP interface, "Technical
Contact Information", "Configure Email"
What do you think?
best regards

***** IMPORTANT NOTE FOR DOMAIN TRANSFERS ***
If you registered a new domain you can disregard the rest of this email.
But if you are transferring an existing domain name from Network Solutions
Inc. (formerly also known as the Internic), YOU MUST READ THE NEXT
PARAGRAPH OR YOU COULD LOSE US$35
If you are transferring a domain from Network Solutions Inc. (NSI) to our
registry (or any other registry), it has come to our notice that NSI
routinely sends a $35 invoice to any domains that have successfully
transferred to another registry. There is no justification for NSI to
sending these invoices, and you ***MUST NOT PAY*** these NSI invoices.
We do not know if these invoices are sent due to a clerical error on NSI's
part, or whether they are sent to induce you to change your mind (which is
unlikely since you have already paid the new registrar and transferred) or
worse, to sneak an invoice by you in the hopes you will pay out of habit
or fear. We do know that these invoices are sent every time, without
fail, any time any domain is successfully transferred away from them. If
you do decide to disregard our notice and pay these invoices "just in
case" (which may be what NSI is hoping you will do), please be advised
that you will need to work with NSI beauracracy to obtain a refund. And
we cannot guarantee that NSI will issue a refund. We hope that NSI will
cease this regrettable practice soon. All we can do is warn you.
