You guys are also forgetting another huge benefit of WebP, which is HTML5-based 
games. Unlike a website, most artwork in a game has transparency and being able 
to use WebP can reduce the assets to an order of magnitude, something that is 
impossile with PNG and JPG does not support transparency.
