Banks... maybe, although they already brand with verisign to try and
convey some kind of trust, but that's mostly a joke because the browser
doesn't show the same imagery.

As for consumer groups, wonder how they feel about small business
discrimination due to price, I know you mentioned price in another
email, however the article you keep rubbishing, and may be out of
context for some things, I think the numbers given are probably a fair
assessment give the criteria etc, 150% more then what verisign currently
charge, I'll assume there is a hefty mark up in there as well, but
still, ~1500 * 1.5 = ~2300$... per year I assume, have to make sure they
are the same company, although with Verisign's position they can
probably skimp, and still charge the same amount...
