Banks... maybe, although they already brand with verisign to try and convey some kind of trust, but that's mostly a joke because the browser doesn't show the same imagery. As for consumer groups, wonder how they feel about small business discrimination due to price, I know you mentioned price in another email, however the article you keep rubbishing, and may be out of context for some things, I think the numbers given are probably a fair assessment give the criteria etc, 150% more then what verisign currently charge, I'll assume there is a hefty mark up in there as well, but still, ~1500 * 1.5 = ~2300$... per year I assume, have to make sure they are the same company, although with Verisign's position they can probably skimp, and still charge the same amount... -- Best regards, Duane http://www.cacert.org - Free Security Certificates http://www.nodedb.com - Think globally, network locally http://www.sydneywireless.com - Telecommunications Freedom http://e164.org - Because e164.arpa is a tax on VoIP "In the long run the pessimist may be proved right, but the optimist has a better time on the trip." _______________________________________________ dev-security mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-security
