Not an objection per-se, but a viewpoint. We did the opposite change recently with the new js-internals list, splitting out from the existing js-engine list, which was a user list. By splitting out conversation which did not interest the other list, we allowed new conversations to happen. Now js-internals is a place where JS developers can discuss the minutia that JS developers are interested in. Before that, every developer would have to think "is this really something to bother all of the js-engine users about". I think this extends somewhat to the dev-platform merge discussion. I don't actually know what you guys talk about in dev-tech-layout, but I wouldn't want you to stop talking about it for fear of wasting my time. -- Paul Biggar Compiler Geek [email protected] _______________________________________________ dev-tech-layout mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-layout
