Yeah, those VolumeITs are brutal to reason about. If you get stuck,
leave a note on JIRA. I can try to find some time this weekend to dig in.

I'm currently bisecting to figure out what's going on with ACCUMULO-4425.
The test isn't very well documented, and there's no server-side problems,
so I'm trying to infer from code what the test conditions the test is
trying to evaluate actually are. We need to do a better job of commenting
to explain what the goal of the test is.

yeah, any of mine are fine for bumping. They've been a problem for a while.

I would assume that ACCUMULO-4422 can be bumped as it's not a blocker,
but I
should be able to run the tests I had asked Sean to do locally here and
speed things up.
I think I also owe Sean a read through on ACCUMULO-4421. Let me try to
help
there too.

I was going to make another RC for 1.8.0, but we have open 4 tickets.
See
1.8.0
<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO/fixforversion/12329879>
Dave, Sean and Christopher, please take a look at these tickets and move
them to 1.8.1 or let me know a timeframe for completion? I can take a
look
at ACCUMULO-4425<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-4425>
since
it is unassigned if it need to stay in 1.8.0.
Thanks
Mike
