How much logging is disabled by setting the CodecPool and NativeCodeLoader
to off? If it is an issue, could it be set in the logging configuration instead
of in this code in the static block?
This is adding a direct dependency to log4j1.x and will need to be changed
to use log4j2 (or slf4j).
This is not enough for me to vote not to merge, but if convenient and
setting the level can be avoided it would save a little work in the future,
