I disagree with the deleting post part. While it is legitimate to want to 
distance from X, the history of association exists, and erasing the history is 
self preservation at the expense of erasing internet history and potential 
users that rely on a past permalink. It is better to preserve the history as 
much as we can, and focus on keeping the distance from now on.
