This is already fixed in `main` and `v3-1-test`, but rc2 is run from a
sub-branch out of rc1 with only few changes cherry-picked from v3-1-test -
not that one :). So should be no problem in future releases.

The way I tested it - when you already get to the point of running the
"check-release-files", you have all artifacts built locally, so you can
just checkout v3-1-test then and run the test. That's what I did.
