Hello Amoro community, This is the eighth release candidate for Apache Amoro (incubating) 0.9.0-incubating. RC7 is retired: its vote thread went out with a malformed subject and never gained traction. Since then master picked up four fixes which RC8 includes: * #4365: Update NOTICE copyright years for 2026 * #4366: Exclude the site directory from the source package * #4364: Support the HEAD route for namespaces in the Iceberg REST catalog * #4341: Improve REST and Lance catalog correctness The candidate is cut from master at 15cb08da6: * Git tag (version bump commit 731665831): https://github.com/apache/amoro/tree/v0.9.0-rc8 * Release artifacts (source, bin-hadoop2, bin-hadoop3, each with .asc and .sha512):
