Vlad Rozov commented on APEXCORE-592:
-------------------------------------
[~ashwinchandrap] Attributes are not application/operator/port specific. They
are defined by the Apex platform. A proprietary GUI like DataTorrent gateway UI
can provide tooltips for attributes without additional Apex API. Attributes
description specified in a property.xml, should be ignored. In the future,
attributes defined by the Apex platform may be extended to include additional
meta information, but this is beyond this JIRA.
[~ajaygit158] The output relies on an application designer to provide
properties.xml file that has operators properties description, while operator
properties are defined by an operator designer. It may be OK as a short term,
but IMO, it will be better to have a solution where operator designer provides
the info.

> Currently for an operator property, only the value field is returned. The
> operator property can have a description describing the property. This task
> is created to return this filed for that operator property.
