Hi all,

If a city council wants to migrate to OOo 2.0, and they have to convert VB
macros, would it be advisable to reimplement them in Python or would it be
easier to convert them to OOoBasic?

And if they want to start writing and testing with OOo 1.1, how big are
the differences between OOoBasic in OOo 1.1 and 2.0?

Be certain to consider the not yet released version of StarOffice, which will probably directly run the existing code.
It will probably be easier to convert to OOo Basic, rather than Python, but if you already know Python, then you can do things that only Python can do :-) I can not comment on how good the Python support is, but I hear that it is just fine.
