It would be great to have some more input from everyone. I feel rather isolated in my work at the moment. There are many things I don't know how to do within euml (currently stuck with stereotypes, multiplicities and extension points). Everything seems to have come to a halt and I worry if this is because people know that the next release is targeted for UML2 and know that efforts are required there but don't know how to achieve that end. So people who could otherwise at least be coding other enhancements and bug fixes for us are not active any more. > Use Bob's module concept or the current 'official' code in the > trunk? The module concept is nothing new. The first diagram module (sequence diagram) was introduced in release 0.28 and the plan has always been to continue that way splitting out not just the diagrams but also other parts of ArgoUML functionality. The only slight difference here is the choice in which diagram module to use depending on UML version. > I have to create figure objects (as an example), so I'd appreciate > a statement which API calls should be used from now on. We probably need more requirements from you if your module is not publicly viewable. Are you targeting for UML1.4 or UML2.x (or do you not think it likely there be any difference as far as your module is concerned). You could always target for UML1.4 with what we have now and deal with upgrading your module to UML2 later. Do you have your own specific diagram types or are you wanting to insert your own Figs into ArgoUML diagrams? If you have your own specific diagram types then are they also to contain standard Argo Figs?
