John Ross commented on ARIES-910:
---------------------------------
Yes, I looked into the Maven repository for Eclipse, and it seemed promising at
first. However, my current understanding is that it's a long-running work in
progress with no set schedule. Most of the repositories appeared to be empty,
and certainly none contain the referenced dependencies. The ultimate intent
seems to be a direct integration with the Eclipse/Equinox builds, and there is
no manual upload process available that I know of. In terms of its current
status, I'm only aware of the following sites:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=283745
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Maven
I agree that the more expeditious approach would be a manual upload to maven
central.

> This task will track any work done as part of integrating Subsystems into the
> Aries build.
> As a first step, I will confirm that all of the dependencies listed in
> aries/trunk/subsystem/pom.xml, which are currently installed using the maven
> external dependency plugin, are available in a public repository.
