Hemanth Yamijala commented on ATLAS-793:
----------------------------------------
[~jspeidel], I verified the changes in the patch on review board and am OK with
the changes. However, the one issue is that I could replicate the stale
transactions warning message fairly easily when I was testing the patch.
I am trying to give some steps that I followed - as far as I can remember. I
request you to please see if you can follow these same steps and replicate the
issue:
* Fresh install of Atlas - using HBase / Solr as storage backends.
* First create a taxonomy through REST client.
* Then create 2 terms under the taxonomy from the UI.
* Create 2 more terms under each of the above terms from the UI.
* Select the terms and navigate these from the UI.
* Run quick_start.py
* Query through a DSL search - at this point is where I started getting the
warnings.
I did not even do any delete operations.
I did run quick_start.py without any business taxonomy interactions, and did
not see the warnings - although if it were some timing dependent issue this
might not mean much.
One thing I am wondering is if the {{initializeGraphTransaction}} is actually
harming more than helping. Should we remove this and try?
