The problem is that every spring. All of those trees kick out huge
quantities of
pollen, which unfortunately many Japanese are allergic to... Thus
every spring...
Out come the masks. Its amazing, you go up towards the mountains when
the pollen is at its peak and you can see clouds of reddish brown
pollen
blowing off the mountains.
