It isn't out of date. If I download the latest Phoenix binaries, they still run. And the existing documentation at http://avalon.apache.org/phoenix is perfectly up to date with Phoenix at the time of its last release. Yes, there may not be many who will visit or use it, but particularly until James either creates a phoenix fork or quits distributing Phoenix, the documents should stay online along with the binaries which are in the distribution mirrors. There's no reason to delete it. It's not like we're running out of space on the webserver. There's no reason to deny users the documentation. Of course, we should probably add a better notice at the top about the status of Phoenix and remove the ApacheCon 2003 image, but I can do that without any problems. J.
