No claim I made was intended to be grandiose. I did make a claim about compatibility issues, and I stand by that claim. The rest is not claims, but feelings, perceptions, generally worrying about stuff.
I think you may have a valid claim but I think it is also a corner-case (which I more that ready to dig into as a separate and distinct subject with all of that other flack). Unfortunately the thread is wrapped up in a bunch of other things related to A4 versus A5 political maneuvering and to be honest I'm not really interested in responding within that context. If you want to start again on this - I'm ok to look at the issue from the point of view of the position of released products and commitment to continue down this path.
