How can we make sure such "same situation" doesn't happen again?

It sounds like Stephen had a chat with you regarding my own and others
contributions. My own take is that Merlin today is so big that even with 5 as
active committers as Stephen, we could possibly still be working on different
parts.
We can only balance the work load by attracting more people. People are not
attracted by flame-fests and project with the reputation of "no progress".
And I think everyone would like to see the 'lead guy' be fully involved.

Trying to answer my own question above, isn't the answer related to get on
with business. Andreas is eagerly awaiting the changes to the Repository
system, so he can integrate that in Studio. I also want the Repository
upgrade, so we can get it into Magic and start using Magic as a publishing
tool for releases. We also want to start on pluggable activation systems, for
Spring and Pico support, but that requires both me and Steve working together
(hopefully others, but I don't keep my hopes up).

I would like to see you revoke your veto, on the grounds of not holding up
progress.

Cheers
Niclas
