It doesn't appear that one can find out the non-string (and hence the array)
nature of datum without
its corresponding java.lang.reflect.Field or Schema object.
On seeing the call hierarchy for isMap/isArray, it seems that they do not have
too many callers and
the callers would need to add a case for non-string map-keys if they really
need it.

That's why the patch is adding a special case for it in one of the callers
#resolveUnion
If there is another way, please suggest.
