Hi everybody, I'm a french student (medicine and biology) working in anesthesia and intensive care and also in genetics. I've always had many problems with my documents and articles, because i write them with latex/bibtex, and except with a pdf, it's really difficult to share documents with people used to Word .... I've been reading the mailing list for a few month because i totally support your project and i wanted to get involved in it. But, i'm still very confuse about what i can do (and about where the project is know, maybe because of the english barrier ! Hopefully, bruce really helped me today with his response to Michael B.). I have a few knowledge in python, C, and i'm working on linux since 1999. I wanted first to test the different components cited in mails (zoom, citeproc, PyOobib, etc ...) but i never managed to get anything work ! (And usually, i'm not to bad to install everything) As i don't really understand what special task i could do, i give up the idea of helping you on the programming part (but i'm ok to get on it again if you want). So what i can offer you is maybe a translation help, to put some documents you would think important to be translate into french ? And then hopefully getting more people involved in the project ? sorry for my english, and thanks to all to what you've done already !
