Bibliographers,
This is to let you know how we are responding to the Summer of Code offers. The Google rules require projects that accepting Summer of Code participants provide a Mentor. A mentor needs to know how to do the work and guides the person being mentored. The sad fact is that except for Bruce's work on Citproc we do not have anyone who could act as mentor for other programming tasks. We are, therfore, advising the Summer of Code people that the only task we can accept Summer of Code offers are for working on Citproc using XSLT. So far we have not had anyone take up that offer. I really hope we are in a much better situation next year if Google runs the Summer of Code again. Regards David -- ------------------- David N.
