OK, I managed to access the documents, but I really don't understand what you're advocating. Metadata in ODF 1.2 will almost certainly use a generic RDF model (perhaps a subset of it), and be available to describe virtually anything in the document. It will be practical, flexible, and powerful, and will open the door to a generic metadata API in ODF applications.
