1. As of the most recent Accumulo release (1.5.0), it appears to support Hadoop
1.0.4 and 2.04-alpha. As of right now in trunk, Hadoop 2.2.0.
2 & 3. Disappointingly, no, there is little commonality in deployment and
interface. I'm sure knowledge of HBase will help one grok Accumulo, but already
I've had to change the packaging to the point that it has about as much in
common with HBase as any other component.
