bq. As of the most recent Accumulo release (1.5.0), it appears to support
Hadoop 1.0.4 and 2.04-alpha. As of right now in trunk, Hadoop 2.2.0.
Accumulo's target is to support hadoop1 and hadoop2 for Accumulo 1.5 and 1.6
(which is what we're currently working to release). We also have a bug-fix
release planned for 1.5 (1.5.1). I think 1.5.0 has a few incorrect checks that
we made to try to make sure HDFS has append/sync support enabled (when it isn't
on by default in the given Hadoop version), which should be fixed in 1.5.1.
