The CI resource shortage problem you mentioned, so we plan to provide a device
to support bigtop CI build(including openEuler OS).
The device Information about:
ARCH: ARM
CPU: 48 cores
memory: 64 GB
disk: 4HDD + 1SSD
OpenEuler bigdata SIG will have dedicated committer to work on Bigtop
maintenance for a long time.

Increased overhead of CI and release process is primary concern for me.
Supporting only on the latest LTS and the most popular architecture (aarch64?)
could reduce the burden.
# Dropping old supported distros (Debian 10 and Ubuntu 20.04?) # could be
discussed in another thread.
Another concern I guess is committers and PMC members outside China rarely have
knowledge and experience about the OpenEuler.
We can not support it in the long term
without getting continuous contributions from OpenEuler users and adding
committers capable to help release process while we can try to add it now
anyway.
