IMO the issue reported below deserves our attention . All users
configuring e-mail notifications will have issues using 0.6 .

I'd like to propose a vote on the subject of preparing a bug fix
release (be it 0.6.1 or 0.7 ...) to deal with this situation as soon
as patches for #592 and #594 will be committed in /trunk .

Please vote:
 [ ] +1 Release a new bug fix release in the next few days
 [ ] +0 Don't care
 [ ] -1 Let's wait a bit longer (no need to explain)

PS: This is not like a regular release vote, just a request for
feedback in spite of acting soon and solve this critical issue .
