@miguelaferreira @rafaelweingartner I totally agree with you that this can
be dealt with better. I didn't want to give it a second thought as my intention
is to get more coverity issues fixed then newly reported on every itteration. I
am fine with not committing this as I first approached so will look into a
better solution. please see #1057 and comment on that as well.
