ok. I'll try to look into it (should be pretty trivial to add).

That would be cool. Just a comment, what maybe is obvious: The above syntax is different to the one in the definition, we should use the same one: <fi:datatype base="date">.

yep, that's right. I did it like that. Now in CVS. The old fi:styling
type="date" is not supported anymore, I guess that's fine?

Well, it's not completely ok:

When checking up on the sample form1 you'll see that the 'alternative-birth-date' doesn't get styled any more as the selection-list it used to be, but now with the date-picker popup!

I mentioned this to Bruno live this morning: he mentioned (without giving it much thought) that xslt priority of matchers might be the way to solve this (considering other suggestions couldn't hurt)

any takers?
as bruno didn't sound like diving into it here and now (too busy on other stuff)

I'll file a bug later (if it wasn't fixed by then...) -marc= -- Marc Portier http://outerthought.org/ Outerthought - Open Source, Java & XML Competence Support Center Read my weblog at http://blogs.cocoondev.org/mpo/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]
