That's what reminded me of ubjson actually. I looked at UBF and it looks rather
complicated for a data exchange. I wouldn't say no but I don't have any
interest in supporting it.
ubjson shouldn't be anything more than writing a parser (which should be
~trivial) and then adding the logic to switch (de)serializers based on content
and accept types. I have no idea what UBF really even is under the hood but it
sounded a lot more complicated.
