Hi Dave, Thanks for the quick response. I have already followed the link mentioned by you above but it didn't solve the issue. the issue is when the setup-x86_64.exe is executed it is supposed to provide with the list of mirror sites where the setup.ini, setup.bz2 and their signature files are present. But when fetching the files an error message pops up saying "setup.ini missing" from the mirror link(I tried almost all the mirror links provided).
I know that building couchDB from source is tricky, but I want to migrate to couchDB from oracle. To build couchDB from the source I am referring to Glazier(https://github.com/dch/glazier) please do refer this link. It says glazier has set of scripts which takes care of dependencies using chocolatey hence we can build erlang and spidermonkey. The only problem I am facing now with installation of couchDB is installation of cygwin. I also tried GoW an alternate to cygwin, I installed it successfully since no mirror sites are involved, but its too lightweight to support all the operatoins.
