Review comment:
Instead of reducing left, whih will allocate a new array, and since the
concat thing mutates state, I think this could be
```
nodes.tail.foreach { array => nodes.head.concat(array) }
```
Also, I don't think ``nodes.reduceToSize(1)`` is necessary. ``nodes`` is
just a temporary array of groupings, and it's size doesn't matter for arrays.
