You already can insert shapes. Where a rectangle can also be found.
I missed drawing shapes, it was inactive. I tried it and found I
cannot change shapes color to none, or invisible. Invisible option can
help me reach my desired table borders.
That's a bug. Could you please submit an issue for this. With target I
would say 3.x. Thanks.
By the way, may be we should add an extra option to the report that
table borders are allowed. When you look at the resulting report
you'll see that there are already tables.
Yes, tables, but not easy manageable if I save it as writer or calc
document, lot of unnecessary cells, I cannot get rid off them easy, to
create good looking report with cell borders.
Did you tried the alignment buttons? For me they are very helpful.
