the name beanval is consistent with partial-bean, a descriptive name for how
it's meant to interact.
tests get run as a part of the app server tests. I'll have to look to see what
we do normally for an SE run, but yes you have to run with a profile to execute
the tests for web profile tests.
there are no standalone test dependencies yet.
groupId in the root-pom of the module is consistent with the groupId in the
other root-poms. In fact much of this was copied from the JSF module to build
out the structure for beanval.
