I did some testing. Seams that there is a different problem.
when I klick on open. MacOS shows the open application anim (Growing rectangle)
but nothing happens. So I've tried to open the app and executed the file in the
MacOS folder. A shell window opened and the following error is displayed

/Applications/ApacheDirectoryStudio.app/Contents/MacOS/ApacheDirectoryStudio ;

Java was there but i did go to the site an downloaded and installed Java 8
update 281.
still the same error and DirectoryStudio doesn't start.
What I'm doing wrong?
