Those are totally fair questions - as is the question - 'should we start paying more broadly for code’. Get that code written (or maintained) we all feel that should.. And shift our role in the industries ecosystem from its current position to one more like the Linux Foundation or the W3C. And that may be a good idea. That may be a bad idea. But it is certainly not a fast one. So right now - I think this is about how we can best support the ASF communities that want to make use of Outreachy its services. Dw.
